She began her professional career in Madrid, making herself known through publications such as Madrid y La Luna and collaborating with the newspapers El País and El Mundo. Since then, she has worked around the world illustrating book covers, posters and advertising campaigns. Among these are her covers for The New Yorker magazine, for which she designed 25 covers. She is the author of children’s books and picture books for adults. In 2010, she received the National Illustration Award, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, and in 2012, she was honoured by The Sant Carles Medal of Fine Arts Faculty, Polythenic University of Valencia, Spain
She lives and works in Madrid, Spain, where she continues to illustrate, paint and tell stories through images.
